1.Aluminum die casting is a process of injection aluminum alloy under pressure, which
produces parts in high volume at low costs.
2, There are two processes of Aluminum die casting: hot chamber and cold chamber.
3, A complete cycle can vary from one second for small components to minutes for a casting
of large part, making aluminum die casting the fastest technique available for producing precise
aluminium alloy parts.

Die Casting Manufacturing Process (Core Steps)
1. Mold Preparation: Design and manufacture a die-casting mold matching the shape of the casting. Typically composed of a moving mold and a fixed mold, the mold must be high-temperature resistant and high-strength, with pre-reserved gating systems (channels for molten metal inflow) and venting systems.
2. Metal Melting: Put the selected metal material (e.g., aluminum alloy ingots) into a furnace, heat it to a specified temperature (usually several hundred to over a thousand degrees Celsius, depending on the material), melt it into a uniform molten metal, and remove impurities.
3. Mold Closing and Clamping: Close the moving and fixed molds via a die-casting machine, and apply high clamping force simultaneously to prevent the mold from opening due to the pressure of the molten metal during casting.
4. Injection and Cavity Filling: The injection mechanism of the die-casting machine injects the molten metal into the mold cavity at high speed and pressure. The filling time is extremely short (usually a few milliseconds to dozens of milliseconds), while air in the cavity is discharged.
5. Cooling and Solidification: The molten metal cools rapidly in the mold cavity and gradually solidifies into the shape of the casting under the control of the mold temperature. The cooling time depends on the size and thickness of the casting.
6. Mold Opening and Part Ejection: After the casting solidifies, the die-casting machine drives the moving mold to open, and the ejection mechanism pushes the casting out of the mold to obtain the initial die-casting blank.
7. Post-Processing: Perform subsequent processing on the blank to remove the remaining sprue (residue from the gating system) and flash. If necessary, conduct surface treatment (e.g., electroplating, painting, anodizing), heat treatment (to improve mechanical properties), or machining (to correct high-precision dimensions) to finally obtain qualified finished products.
