Our company philosophy:

1. What is Laser Welding, and what are its key advantages?
Laser welding is a high-precision, non-contact welding process that uses a focused laser beam as the heat source. Key advantages include:
Minimal Heat-Affected Zone (HAZ): Reduces part distortion and preserves material properties.
High Precision & Speed: Ideal for complex, small, or delicate components.
Deep Penetration & Strong Welds: Achieves high aspect ratios (depth-to-width).
Automation-Friendly: Easily integrated into robotic cells for consistent, high-volume production.
Versatile Material Joining: Can weld dissimilar metals, thin to thick sections, and hard-to-reach areas.
2. How do I start a project or get a quote?
To get a fast and accurate quote, please email us with:
Part drawings or 3D files.
Material specifications.
Annual volume estimate.
Any critical quality or performance requirements.
3. What materials can you weld?
We weld a wide range of metals and alloys:
Steels: Mild steel, stainless steel (304, 316), tool steel, galvanized steel.
Aluminum & Alloys: Series 1000, 5000, 6000, 7000 (including challenging grades like 6061).
Copper, Brass, Bronze.
Nickel Alloys & Titanium.
Dissimilar Metals: Such as steel to aluminum, copper to steel (with proper process development).
4. What is your maximum welding thickness capability?
Our capabilities vary by material and joint design:
Steel: Up to 12 mm for single-pass, deeper with multi-pass or hybrid techniques.
Aluminum: Up to 8 mm.
Stainless Steel: Up to 10 mm.
For prototypes or samples, we can test and confirm feasibility for your specific thickness.
5. What is the typical tolerance and precision level?
Laser welding is exceptionally precise:
Beam Spot Size: As small as 0.1 mm.
Positional Accuracy: Within ±0.05 mm using our CNC or robotic systems.
Weld Width: Can be as narrow as 0.2 mm.
This allows for welding next to heat-sensitive components.
6. Do you provide fixture and tooling design?
Yes. We offer complete turnkey solutions, including:
Fixture/Jig Design & Manufacturing to hold your parts in perfect alignment.
Integrating robots, positioners, and automation.
Process Development to optimize parameters for your specific part.
7. What file formats do you need for a quote?
We can work from most common formats:
3D Models: STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, CATIA, UG.
2D Drawings: DXF, DWG, PDF (clearly indicating weld locations, joint type, and tolerances).
Physical Samples: We can analyze and reverse engineer.
8. What is the process from inquiry to production?
Our streamlined workflow ensures quality:
Consultation & Feasibility Study: Review your drawings/parts.
Quotation & Proposal: Provide detailed cost and timeline.
Process Development & Sample Welding: Create a welding procedure and provide samples for your approval.
Fixture Fabrication & Pre-Production Run.
Mass Production & Quality Inspection.
9. What post-weld finishing can you provide?
We offer a full range of secondary services:
Grinding & Polishing to achieve a seamless finish.
Heat Treatment for stress relief.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): X-ray, ultrasonic, dye penetrant inspection.
Full assembly and machining services.
10. Can you weld pre-assembled or coated parts?
Yes, but it requires specific process design:
Pre-assembled Parts: We can design welds for accessible joints.
Coated/Painted Parts: The coating must be removed from the weld area first. We can provide localized laser cleaning as a service.
11. What is your MOQ for production runs?
Laser welding is suitable for both prototypes and high-volume work:
Prototyping & Low-Volume: MOQ 10 - 50 pieces.
Medium to High-Volume Production: MOQ 1,000+ pieces annually. No upper limit.
12. What is your typical lead time?
Quotation & Feasibility: 1-3 business days.
Sample Development & Approval: 7-15 working days.
Production Lead Time: 15-30 working days after sample approval, depending on volume.
13. What industries do you serve?
Our expertise spans multiple sectors:
Automotive & EV (battery trays, sensors, powertrain components).
Medical & Dental (implants, surgical instruments).
Aerospace (thin-wall structures, engine components).
Electronics & Micro-joining (hermetic seals, connectors).
Consumer Goods & Jewelry.
Industrial Machinery.
