Q1: What is the maximum size of welded assemblies you can produce?
A: Our workshop can handle single assemblies up to 5 meters in length, 2.5 meters in width, and 1.5 meters in height. For larger structures, we fabricate in modular sections for on-site assembly. Our overhead crane capacity is 20 tons.
Q2: Can you weld dissimilar metals (e.g., steel to aluminum)?
A: Yes, we have expertise in joining dissimilar metals using specialized processes such as explosion welding clad plates, bimetallic transition joints, or specific filler metals and techniques like friction stir welding for certain applications. This requires detailed engineering review.
Q3: What file formats do you accept for drawings?
A: We prefer 3D files (STEP, IGS, SLDPRT) and 2D drawings (PDF, DWG, DXF). Clear drawings must include material specifications, weld symbols (per ISO 2553 or AWS A2.4), tolerances, and any required non-destructive testing (NDT) indications.
Q4: What documentation do you provide with shipments?
A: We provide a complete documentation package including: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Material Certificates (MTC), Inspection Reports (including NDT reports if applicable), and a Certificate of Conformity.
Q5: How do you control welding distortion?
A: We employ multiple strategies: proper joint design and sequencing, use of strong-backs and fixtures, pre-setting components, and controlled clamping. For critical components, we use predictive software to model distortion and plan corrective measures in advance.
Q6: Can you match a specific paint color or finish?
A: Yes. We have in-house powder coating and wet painting lines. We can match RAL, Pantone, or custom color samples. We also offer various surface preparations (sandblasting, phosphating) and finishes (textured, glossy, matte).
Q7: What is your typical lead time?
A: Lead time depends on complexity and order volume. Prototypes/samples: 3-5 weeks. Small to medium batches: 5-8 weeks. Large production runs: 8-12+ weeks. Lead time starts after final drawing approval and receipt of deposit.
Q8: What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
A: For custom welded fabrications, our MOQ is typically 50 pieces or a minimum order value. However, we are flexible and accept lower quantities for prototyping or initial partnership projects.
Q9: Can you handle the entire process from raw material to finished assembly?
A: Yes, we are a vertically integrated manufacturer. We manage material sourcing/procurement, laser/plasma cutting, bending/forming, welding, machining, surface treatment, final assembly with purchased parts, and packaging. This ensures single-point accountability and quality control.
Q10: What are your payment terms?
A: We offer 30% deposit, 70% against copy of B/L. Other terms (L/C) are negotiable for large projects.
Q11: What if we find a defect after receiving the products?
A: We stand behind our quality. Please notify us with clear photos/videos and the batch number within 7 days of receipt. Our quality team will investigate promptly. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will arrange for repair, replacement, or credit as appropriate.
Q12: Do you offer on-site installation or technical support?
A: While we primarily focus on manufacturing, we can provide detailed installation manuals, marked drawings, and video guidance. For large or complex projects, we can arrange for our engineers to provide on-site supervision or training at an additional cost (travel and fees apply).
Q13: Can you work with our provided materials?
A: Yes, we accept customer-supplied material (CSM). In such cases, we require full material certification upfront and a waiver of liability for material-related defects. Our quotation will then cover only the labor and processing costs
